I was asked by Wheaton College to create a 10 minute introduction to Student Development to be shown to new students during their orientation week. Working from an outline of the message the college wanted to send to new students, I wrote, narrated, illustrated, and animated the video.
The video is meant to be whimsical, fast-paced, and entertaining. I used a combination of kinetic typography and minimalist, one-color graphics to illustrate the content of the narration and provide light-hearted asides. The illustrations were created with Adobe Illustrator and animated with Apple Motion.
